2 more arrested in Worcester University Park shooting

WORCESTER — Two more men have been arrested in connection with a May 27 shooting at University Park that left one person wounded.

Luis Ozuna, 25, was arrested Thursday, while Raymond Leblanc, 25, was arrested Friday, Worcester police said.

Both men face the same charges as Lugardo Flores, who was arrested last week in connection with the incident.

All three are charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, armed assault to murder, firearm use in felony, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, carrying a firearm without a license and firearm discharge within 500 feet of a dwelling.

Police received several calls reporting gunshots near the intersection of Illinois Street and Gates Street at approximately 8:09 p.m. May 27.

Witnesses reported hearing between 10 and 12 gunshots.

Officers found several shell casings in the area.

A 21-year-old victim arrived at an area hospital shortly after the incident with a graze wound to the head that was considered non-life-threatening.

Two vehicles were damaged by projectiles.

The incident remains under investigation.
