RICHFORD — Vermont State Police arrested a 57-year-old man Monday after he allegedly pointed a handgun at another man and fired a shot near him.
Matthew Spicer of Richford was charged with aggravated assault following an incident on Nickson Road at 3:17 p.m. June 2.
Police said Spicer pointed the handgun at 40-year-old Zachary Hughes of Richford and then fired one bullet near the victim without striking him.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
