2 Massena men arrested following fight on Alcoa Road

MASSENA — State Police responded to a complaint of a fight in progress on Alcoa Road at approximately 7:36 p.m. May 16.

Upon investigation, it was determined that a verbal argument had occurred between Michael J. Green, age 38, of Massena, and the victim.

The argument escalated into a physical altercation when Green struck the victim in the face.

The victim was taken to Massena Memorial Hospital, where he received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

While troopers were interviewing witnesses regarding the altercation, Alan M. Green, age 33, also of Massena, became disorderly.

He made disrespectful remarks, acted belligerently, swore, and displayed violent behavior towards law enforcement.

Despite being asked multiple times to calm down, Alan refused to comply.

When the troopers attempted to arrest him, he continued to resist and ignored their commands.

Ultimately, Alan was placed in handcuffs.

Alan M. Green was transported to SP Massena for processing May 16.

He was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and was later released on an appearance ticket, returnable to the Town of Massena Court for a later date in June.

On May 31, State Police received the victim’s medical records, which led to the arrest of Michael J. Green.

He was arrested and transported to SP Massena, where he was charged with third-degree assault.

Like his brother, he was released on an appearance ticket, returnable to the Town of Massena Court for a later date in June.
