Woman arrested on grand larceny charge in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD — A 42-year-old Chester woman was arrested on a grand larceny charge following an investigation into a residential theft.

Nina Maye Loring was taken into custody without incident at her Chester residence on April 17 at 9:02 a.m., according to Springfield Police.

The investigation began after police received a complaint about a larceny from a residence on April 2 at approximately 8:22 p.m.

Officer Callahan investigated the incident and identified Loring as the suspect.

Loring was transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing.

She was issued a criminal citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on June 17 at 8:30 a.m.

The stolen property was recovered and returned to the owner.
