BRANFORD — Branford Emergency Dispatch received notification of a small plane crash near the Thimble Islands on June 1.
The Branford Fire Department, U.S. Coast Guard and other regional partners responded to the area and located two individuals in the water with non-life-threatening injuries.
Both parties were taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
The FAA will be handling the investigation.
