PROVIDENCE — Members of the Financial Crimes Unit arrested Amanda Torres, age 39, of 16 Clematis Street, Providence, on May 27 for obtaining property by false pretenses, giving false document to a public official and fraudulently obtaining public assistance.
Torres was arraigned in Superior Court and released on $10,000 personal recognizance.
Members of the Gaming Enforcement Unit arrested Tina Levitre, age 46, of 32 Oak Terrace, Unit 32, Mapleville, on May 28 for transmitting bomb threats and false reports, possession of a controlled substance less than 10 grams and obstructing an officer in the execution of his duty.
Levitre was processed at the Lincoln Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released pending an appearance in Third Division District Court.
Gaming Enforcement Unit members arrested Dean Sbraccia, age 56, of 223 Central Street, Apartment R, Saugus, Massachusetts, on May 28 for possession of burglary tools.
Sbraccia was processed at the Lincoln Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released pending an appearance in Third Division District Court.
Gaming Enforcement Unit members arrested Hang S. Ho, age 46, of 312 North Lake Avenue, Worcester, Massachusetts, on May 29 for possession of a controlled substance less than 10 grams.
Ho was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and released pending an appearance in Third Division District Court.
Members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Newport Police Department arrested Michael L. Plant, age 50, of 33 Halsey Street Apartment 1W, Newport, on May 29 on an arrest warrant for sex offender registration violation.
Plant was taken into custody without incident and turned over to Newport Police Department members on scene.
Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force members arrested Jesse Pepper, age 41, of 119 Armistice Boulevard, Pawtucket, on May 29 on an arrest warrant for sex offender registration violation.
Pepper was taken into custody without incident and turned over to the Pawtucket Police Department.
Members of the Special Victims Unit arrested Anthony Allen Scott, age 37, of 1510 Westminster Street, on May 29 for first-degree child molestation and two counts of second-degree child molestation.
Scott was processed at State Police Headquarters, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and held at the Adult Correctional Institutions.
Members of the RI State Police HIDTA Task Force and the DEA Providence District Office arrested Jose Diaz, age 37, of 326 Webster Avenue, Cranston, on May 30 for possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and possession with intent to deliver a Schedule I/II controlled substance.
Diaz was transported to the Lincoln Barracks and to Sixth District Court for formal arraignment.
Members of the ACI Investigations Unit arrested Anthony Folcarelli, age 64, last known address of 485 Plainfield Street, Providence, on May 30 for conveyance of unauthorized articles to an institution and possession of a controlled substance.
Folcarelli was arraigned in Third Division Court and remanded to the custody of the Sheriffs Department.
ACI Investigations Unit members arrested Jalon Rogers, age 23, last known address of 58 Berkshire Street, Providence, on May 30 for domestic violence violation of a no contact order.
Rogers was arraigned in Third Division Court and remanded to the custody of the Sheriffs Department.
ACI Investigations Unit members arrested Raymond Silva, age 57, last known address of 114 Wakefield Street, West Warwick, on May 30 for simple assault and battery.
Silva was arraigned in Third Division Court and remanded into the custody of the Sheriffs Department.
Members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Lino Menjivar, age 30, of 443 Power Road, Pawtucket, on May 30 for fugitive from justice for murder, possession of firearm by prohibited persons, license or permit required for carrying a pistol, modification of a semi-automatic pistol and large-capacity feeding devices prohibited.
Menjivar was taken into custody, transported to the Lincoln Barracks and subsequently transported to Sixth
