ELMORE — A 21-year-old Morristown man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a single-vehicle crash on Route 12 early Sunday morning.
Vermont State Police responded to the crash at 3:38 a.m. June 1.
The driver, Travis Rayburn, was operating a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze when the crash occurred under clear weather and road conditions.
Troopers observed indicators of impairment while speaking with Rayburn at the scene.
Rayburn was wearing a seatbelt and sustained minor injuries in the crash.
He was transported to Copley Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The vehicle sustained minor damage.
Rayburn was later transported to the Morristown Police Department for processing.
He was released with a citation to appear in court on a charge of DUI first offense.
