4-car crash in Long Beach leaves 2 drivers refusing hospital transport

LONG BEACH — The Long Beach Fire Department responded to a four-vehicle collision in front of 452 E. Park Ave. at 9:34 p.m. Tuesday.

Two of the vehicles involved in the crash were parked, according to fire officials.

The two drivers involved were evaluated at the scene but refused transport to the hospital.

Fire crews disabled the batteries on the vehicles and cleaned up fluid and debris from the roadway.

Units responding to the scene included Ambulance 2319, Engine 2343 and Mount Sinai South Nassau Ambulance 2325.

All operations were under the command of Assistant Chief DiGiacomo.
