Rhode Island man arrested for possession of stolen vehicle

HOPE VALLEY — Troopers from the Hope Valley Barracks arrested Abraham Andrews, 18, of West Greenwich, for possession of a stolen vehicle on Saturday, May 31 at 11:30 p.m.

The arrest stemmed from a barracks investigation, according to Rhode Island State Police.

Andrews, a resident of 50 Plain Road, was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, first offense.

Following his arrest, Andrews was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.

He was subsequently released pending a future appearance in Third Division District Court.
