PITTSFIELD — Vermont State Police are searching for a 79-year-old woman who went missing after being last seen at a convenience store in Rutland early Sunday morning.
Julia Peterson left her Pittsfield residence around 8:30 p.m. Saturday in a black 2011 Toyota Rav4 with Vermont license plate GCE306, according to police.
Peterson was reportedly last seen around 1 a.m. Sunday at the Stewart’s Shop on Woodstock Avenue in Rutland City before she left heading eastbound.
The missing woman is described as approximately 5’3″ tall, weighing 150 pounds, with hazel eyes.
