WICKFORD — Troopers arrested Garrett Kazar, 31, of Wakefield, Rhode Island, for domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.
The arrest followed an investigation by state police and a subsequent motor vehicle stop on Tower Hill Road in North Kingstown.
Kazar, of 90 Grand Brook Circle, was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks for processing.
He was arraigned by a Justice of Peace and released with a notice to appear in Fourth Division District Court.
In a separate incident, troopers arrested Tomas Guico, 54, of Cranston, Rhode Island, at 11:26 p.m. Tuesday.
Guico faces charges of driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor (first offense), refusal to submit to a chemical test (first offense), giving false document to a public official, and a Sixth Division District Court bench warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of simple assault – domestic from the Providence Police Department.
The arrest occurred during a traffic stop on Route 95 North in Warwick.
Guico, of 297 Smith Street Apt. 1, was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
