HUBBARDTON — A local man was arrested Saturday afternoon following a domestic assault incident on Vermont Route 30.
Scott Goetz, 52, of Hubbardton, was taken into custody at approximately 4:39 p.m. on May 31 and charged with second-degree aggravated domestic assault.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks responded to reports of a family fight at the location.
Investigation determined that Goetz had caused pain or injury to a family or household member, according to police.
Goetz was transported to the Rutland Barracks for processing.
After being issued conditions of release, he was lodged at Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility.
