DANVILLE — Vermont State Police arrested a Lyndon man Saturday evening after a traffic stop revealed he was driving under the influence with a child in the vehicle.
Bryce Barber, 26, was stopped by troopers at approximately 7:35 p.m. on Route 2 in Danville for an observed motor vehicle violation.
During the investigation, officers determined Barber was operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Troopers discovered a young child in the back seat of the vehicle at the time of the stop.
Barber was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police Barracks in St. Johnsbury.
He faces charges of DUI, reckless endangerment, and child cruelty.
Barber was later released with a citation to appear in court.
