ROME — The Rome Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to a reported burglary at The Bloomfield Market, 104 E. Bloomfield Street, at about 8:50 a.m. Thursday, May 29.
Officers spoke with the victim who reported that an unknown suspect had forcibly entered the property by smashing the glass on the front door.
The individual then entered the business, took several miscellaneous items and left the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
