GOSHEN — Three people died after a residential structure fire Saturday night on Pulaski Highway, authorities said.
The Town of Goshen Police Department, New York State Police and numerous fire departments responded to the blaze at approximately 8:11 p.m. at 876 Pulaski Highway.
Fire personnel arrived to find the building completely engulfed in flames.
During rescue operations, Shane Munn, 50, was found deceased inside the residence.
Two juvenile males, ages 12 and 17, were located inside the home and transported to Garnett Health Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill.
Both juveniles later succumbed to their injuries.
The incident is currently under investigation by the State Police Monroe Bureau of Criminal Investigation, with assistance from the Orange County Fire Investigation Unit and the Hudson Valley Arson and Explosives Task Force.
Multiple agencies provided assistance, including fire departments from Goshen, Florida, Pine Island, Warwick, Slate Hill, Chester, Johnson, and Unionville.
Additional support came from Orange County Fire Coordinators, Orange County Department of Emergency Services, Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office, Goshen EMS, Warwick EMS, Wawayanda EMS and the American Red Cross.
