WEST RUTLAND — A local man was arrested Friday afternoon after allegedly assaulting a family member.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland barracks responded to a domestic disturbance in West Rutland at approximately 3:04 p.m.
Investigators determined Jeremy Wright, 33, of West Rutland, caused serious bodily injury to a household member.
Wright was taken into custody and transported to the Rutland Barracks for processing.
He was held without bail and lodged at the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility.
Wright faces charges of first-degree aggravated domestic assault and criminal threatening.
