Waltham, Shelburne residents cited for phone threats

WALTHAM — Two Vermonters were cited after allegedly making threatening phone calls to each other, state police said.

Troopers responded to a report of threats made via telephone at 8:38 a.m. on May 30.

Investigation revealed that on May 29 at 7 p.m., Lonie Parker, 50, of Waltham and Thomas George, 30, of Shelburne threatened to inflict injury to each other during a phone conversation.

Both Parker and George were issued citations to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division at a later date.

The two face charges of disturbing the peace by use of telephone.
