OLEAN — The Bureau of Criminal Investigation at SP Olean arrested Jason L. DeYoe, 50, of Olean, on May 4 on charges of course of sexual conduct against a child in the second degree, a class D felony, and unlawful surveillance in the second degree, a class E felony.
Investigators said the charges stem from a complaint alleging DeYoe, a police officer with the Olean Police Department, committed a sexual offense involving a minor.
DeYoe was arraigned in Portville Town Court and released.
He is scheduled to return to court on June 5.
