OLEAN — New York State Police arrested Jason Boon, 47, of Olean on May 12 on charges of assault in the third degree and criminal obstruction of breathing, both class A misdemeanors.
An investigation determined that Boon was involved in a domestic incident during which he assaulted the victim.
Boon, who is a police officer with the Olean Police Department, was processed and released on appearance tickets.
