MONKTON — A Massachusetts man was charged with driving under the influence following an early morning crash Saturday.
At 4:54 a.m., troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Hollow Road near Weisenbach Road.
Investigators said a 2012 Toyota Sienna was traveling east when it left the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver, John Mcevilla, 28, of Greenfield, Mass., was not injured.
Troopers detected signs of impairment and arrested Mcevilla.
He was processed at the New Haven Barracks and released to a sober adult.
Mcevilla was cited to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division.
