SOMERS — A South Salem, N.Y., man faces multiple charges after allegedly damaging a former neighbor’s lawn and making threats against several individuals over a four-day period.

Vincent G. D’Agnese, 33, was arrested May 29 by the Somers Bureau of Criminal Investigation following a series of incidents that began May 26.

According to State Police, a Somers homeowner reported that D’Agnese drove onto his front lawn and performed “donuts,” causing significant damage to the grass.

When the homeowner followed D’Agnese’s vehicle and both stopped, D’Agnese allegedly exited his car holding a long black object and approached the homeowner while yelling.

Later that evening, D’Agnese reportedly returned to the property in an agitated state and threatened the victim while holding a piece of metal.

On May 27, a local business owner in Somers reported receiving threatening messages from D’Agnese via LinkedIn, expressing fear for their safety.

The following day, a third individual contacted State Police about unsolicited threatening messages from D’Agnese on Instagram.

The victim, who reportedly had not been in contact with D’Agnese since high school in 2009, also expressed concern for his safety.

D’Agnese was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree criminal mischief, both Class D felonies.

He also faces misdemeanor charges including second-degree menacing, three counts of second-degree aggravated harassment, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Following arraignment in Somers Town Court, D’Agnese was remanded to Westchester County Jail with bail set at $50,000 cash, $75,000 bond, or $125,000 partially secured bond.
