Driver injured after single-vehicle rollover on I-91 in Ryegate

RYEGATE — A New Hampshire man was injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 91 northbound early Saturday morning.

The crash occurred at approximately 5:46 a.m. near mile marker 114.2 in Ryegate.

Thomas Seppala, 46, of Rindge, New Hampshire, lost control of his 2015 BMW X3 while traveling northbound in rainy conditions.

The vehicle veered off the interstate into the median, rolled several times, and Seppala was ejected.

Seppala, who was not wearing a seat belt, sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital.

The BMW was totaled in the crash.

Vermont State Police were assisted by the Ryegate Fire Department and Wards Wrecker Service.
