SANGERFIELD — A Sangerfield man was arrested Wednesday following the execution of an outstanding warrant at a local gas station, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.

The arrest occurred at Circle K in the town of Sangerfield on May 29 while deputies were conducting a proactive patrol detail.

Upon arrival, deputies recognized and identified Glen A. Sauerhafer, 40, who was wanted on a warrant issued by Augusta Town Court for one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.

The charge stems from an April traffic stop conducted by Road Patrol Deputies.

Sauerhafer was transported to the Kurt Wyman Law Enforcement Building, where he was booked and processed.

He remains in the Oneida County Correctional Facility awaiting centralized arraignment.
