Milford police seize drugs and cash in raid, 3 face charges

MILFORD — On May 29, the Milford Police Detective Bureau executed an operation leading to multiple charges against three individuals and the seizure of 34.79 grams of crack cocaine and $2,315.

In the months prior, the department received multiple complaints about drug activity at a residence on Ladarola Ave.

The detective bureau launched an investigation and identified those involved.

At approximately 2:14 p.m. on May 29, detectives observed a hand-to-hand drug transaction at 6 Ladarola Ave. involving occupants of a 2017 black Jeep Cherokee and a male resident.

As detectives approached, one suspect fled into the home while the Jeep attempted to leave before being stopped.

A search of the vehicle and residence led to the arrest of Anthony Jordao, 25, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island.

John Jordao, 49, of Woonsocket, and Dean Murphy, 54, of Milford, Massachusetts, were issued criminal summonses.

Charges include drug possession and distribution.

Milford Chief of Police Robert Tusino commended the detective bureau and thanked residents for providing tips that aided the investigation.
