DEERING — A traffic stop on May 29 led to a search warrant and multiple arrests.
Officers Vaillancourt and Gallant stopped a vehicle at approximately 1:05 p.m. for failure to use a turn signal.
During the stop, K-9 Dice alerted to the presence of drugs in the vehicle.
The investigation resulted in an arrest warrant for Daniel Kramer, 37, of Deering and a search warrant for his residence.
Hillsboro Police, assisted by multiple agencies, conducted a high-risk stop on Kramer later that evening.
Kramer and two others were taken into custody without incident.
A search of Kramer’s home revealed suspected fentanyl, crack cocaine, marijuana, prescription pills, firearms, and firearm manufacturing tools.
Kramer faces charges including drug sales, possession, and illegal firearm possession.
Seven people were arrested in connection with the investigation.
Kramer was arraigned in the 6th Circuit Court – Hillsborough and ordered held on preventative detention.
