South Windsor police arrest 2 in separate larceny cases

SOUTH WINDSOR — On Tuesday at 10:49 a.m., South Windsor police arrested Betzaida Rodriguez-Garay, 39, of Springfield, Massachusetts, on an active arrest warrant.

Rodriguez-Garay’s charge stems from an April larceny investigation at Old Navy on 101 Evergreen Way, where she allegedly stole approximately $550 worth of merchandise.

She turned herself in at police headquarters and was processed before being released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Rodriguez-Garay is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on June 11 at 9 a.m.

In a separate case, South Windsor police arrested Daniel T. Jarrett, 57, of Hartford, on Tuesday at 6:14 p.m. on an active arrest warrant.

Jarrett’s charge is tied to a May 8 larceny at Stop & Shop on 1739 Ellington Road, where he allegedly stole $1,500 worth of groceries.

He was arrested at Hartford Correctional Center and later released on a $10,000 surety bond.

Jarrett is also scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on June 11 at 9 a.m.
