SOMERVILLE — On May 21 at approximately 8:44 p.m., Somerville Police responded to a residence on South St for an attempted breaking and entering.
The victim reported hearing noises in the kitchen and later observed a rear door open with damage to the frame.
Nothing was reported missing.
On May 21 at 11:30 a.m., officers responded to Highland Ave for an assault report.
The victim stated he was escorting a male out of a building when the male attacked him, causing several injuries.
On May 26 at approximately 5:12 p.m., police responded to an apartment complex on Broadway for a past assault.
The victim reported being attacked by a known female, resulting in numerous injuries.
Officers identified the suspect.
On May 24 at 1:39 a.m., officers patrolling outside a business on Broadway observed two males fighting.
Both males were advised and left the area.
On May 25 at approximately 9:57 a.m., police responded to a residence on Park St for a breaking and entering.
A caretaker reported finding a male sleeping on the couch.
Officers identified the suspect.
On May 26 at approximately 10:23 a.m., officers responded to a business on Somerville Ave for a dispute.
The victim stated a male struck her in the head with a juice bottle during an argument.
The suspect was located and arrested.
Additional crimes reported between May 21 and May 26 included four package thefts, three car breaks, one motor vehicle vandalism, two vandalisms, and one motor vehicle theft.
