BALDWIN — The First Squad of the Nassau County Police Department announced the arrest of an East Rockaway man on a burglary charge that occurred Thursday, May 8 at 4:42 p.m. in Baldwin.
Detectives reported that Manuel Alvarez, 61, while employed at Kolstein Music at 795 Foxhurst Road, removed assorted items and various musical instruments valued at more than one million dollars from the location without permission.
The items were transported to an unknown location in Florida.
Following an extensive investigation, Alvarez was located and arrested without incident.
Police did not disclose additional details regarding the recovery of the stolen items or the location in Florida.
