METHUEN — A Rhode Island woman was arrested Tuesday evening after police found approximately 160 grams of suspected fentanyl in her vehicle.
Officers responded to the CVS parking lot at 5:55 p.m. after receiving a report of a woman passed out in a car with a needle.
Drug paraphernalia and a brick of suspected fentanyl were discovered inside the vehicle.
The suspect admitted to recent drug use and was found to have an active warrant.
She was charged with trafficking fentanyl (100–200 grams) and possession of a Class A substance.
Bail was set at $250,000.
