Lyndonville man arrested for suspected drug-impaired driving

LYNDONVILLE — A Lyndonville man was arrested Thursday afternoon on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.

Bernardo J.C. Rodriguez, 63, was stopped by a Lyndonville police officer for speeding on Lynburke Road at 3:51 p.m. April 10.

Officers observed signs of impairment unrelated to alcohol.

Rodriguez was taken into custody and underwent a Drug Influence Evaluation.

A blood sample was collected as evidence with assistance from Lyndon Rescue.

Rodriguez was later released to a sober individual.

He was cited to appear in Caledonia Superior Court for arraignment at 8:30 a.m. July 21.
