Hampstead police arrest driver after motorcycle collision

HAMSTEAD — Police and fire departments responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a sedan and a motorcycle near 180 East Rd. at approximately 9:15 p.m. on May 28.

Investigators determined the sedan, operated by Catherine Graham-Comeau of Hampstead, struck the motorcycle from behind, ejecting the rider.

The male motorcyclist sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Parkland Medical Center.

Graham-Comeau was arrested at the scene and faces multiple charges, including aggravated driving while intoxicated, reckless operation, vehicular assault, speeding, and following too closely.

Authorities ask anyone who witnessed the crash to contact the Hampstead Police Department.
