EAST BRIDGEWATER — A Bridgewater man was arrested Wednesday on drug and impaired driving charges after allegedly fleeing the scene of a crash.

Sean Black Cashin, 43, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs, possession of a Class A drug, four counts of possession of a Class E drug, leaving the scene of property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation.

East Bridgewater police responded to a single-vehicle crash near 191 Church St. at about 6:50 p.m. Wednesday.

Officers found a parked vehicle matching the description of the one that fled.

The car was missing part of its front grille, which matched debris at the crash scene.

Tire tracks were also found on a nearby lawn.

Cashin was identified as the driver.

Police said he appeared impaired by drugs.

A search of the vehicle allegedly uncovered 4 grams of suspected fentanyl, 20 Oxymetholone pills, two vials of anabolic steroids and 15 Gabapentin pills.

Cashin is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Brockton District Court.
