Boston police seek suspect in Brighton war memorial vandalism

BOSTON — Detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in the vandalism of the Veterans of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam War Memorial in Brighton.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Cambridge Street and Henshaw Street on May 21 between 6:10 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, about 5-foot-9, wearing a long brown trench coat.

Detectives from District D-14 (Brighton/Allston) are investigating.
