3 arrested on cocaine charges after Rutland traffic stop

RUTLAND — Three people were arrested on cocaine possession charges following a traffic stop Tuesday night.

Troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks stopped a vehicle for an observed violation on South Main Street near Cumberland Farms at approximately 8:50 p.m.

The operator was identified as David Flanders, 31, of Pittsford.

During the stop, troopers reported seeing drug paraphernalia in plain view.

Flanders and two passengers, Nichole Siliski, 38, and Spencer Guida, 29, both of Rutland, consented to searches.

Troopers said they found suspected cocaine during the searches.

All three were arrested and taken to the Rutland Barracks for processing.

They were issued criminal citations.
