ST. JOHNSBURY — Vermont State Police have identified a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant in connection with the May 6 shooting on Concord Avenue in St. Johnsbury.
Ladjuan Anthony Guichard, 27, of Dorchester, Massachusetts, is wanted on a charge of attempted second-degree murder related to the shooting of 30-year-old Adam Belliveau.
The arrest warrant is subject to nationwide extradition.
Guichard is also wanted in Massachusetts on a probation violation.
He is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 225 pounds, with dark brown or black hair and a beard.
Guichard’s last known whereabouts were in Dorchester on May 9.
Police said he should be considered dangerous and potentially armed.
Anyone with information on Guichard’s location is advised not to approach him and to call 911, local police, or the Vermont State Police barracks in St. Johnsbury at 802-748-3111.

Investigators say the shooting was not a random act and involved individuals who knew each other.
Belliveau is recovering from his injuries.
