OAK BLUFFS — On Oct. 7, 2024, members of the Martha’s Vineyard Drug Task Force and the DEA Cape Cod Regional Office arrested Everton G. Facey, 56, as he prepared to drive off a Steamship Authority ferry in Vineyard Haven.
Facey was arrested on two warrants for distribution of a Class B substance (cocaine) following a three-month investigation into his drug dealing activities.
While out on bail, Facey continued distributing cocaine, prompting further investigation by authorities.
On Dec. 16, 2024, search warrants were executed on Facey and his vehicle in Edgartown, where officers found approximately 72 grams of vacuum-sealed cocaine near a tree where his car had briefly stopped.
Facey admitted to purchasing two ounces of cocaine in Hartford, Connecticut, and was arrested for trafficking cocaine (36-100 grams).
He was indicted on three charges in Edgartown Superior Court, with cases still pending.
On May 23, 2025, search warrants were executed on Facey and a rental vehicle in West Tisbury, where officers found cocaine.
He was arrested for distribution and possession with intent to distribute.
Facey was arraigned in Edgartown District Court on May 27 and is being held at Dukes County Jail for 90 days for violating bail conditions.
