BOURNE — A motorcycle operator was transported with significant but non-life threatening injuries after a crash involving a pickup truck on Scenic Highway.
The Bourne Police Department and Bourne Fire Department responded to the scene near Edgehill Road on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said a pickup truck traveling westbound made an illegal U-turn, striking the motorcycle.
Authorities reminded drivers that U-turns are not permitted on Scenic Highway except at intersections where signs do not prohibit them.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
