Man arrested for using counterfeit money in Olive

OLIVE — A 34-year-old man was arrested May 24 on charges of petit larceny and criminal possession of a forged instrument in the first degree.

David S. Kiersted of Olive is accused of ordering more than $70 worth of food and paying with counterfeit money.

He was arraigned before Town of Lloyd Judge Elia and released.

Kiersted is due back in court July 17.

Highland man charged with attempted assault following domestic dispute

HIGHLAND — A 22-year-old man was arrested May 21 and charged with attempted assault in the third degree following a domestic dispute.

Gabriel J. Canino of Highland was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Part Court and released.

He was due back in Town of Lloyd Court on May 27.

Highland man faces criminal mischief, harassment charges

HIGHLAND — A 40-year-old man was arrested May 27 and charged with criminal mischief in the fourth degree and harassment in the second degree after a domestic dispute.

Giovanni H. Flores of Highland was released on an appearance ticket.

He is due in Town of Lloyd Court on June 3.
