IRASBURG — Vermont State Police responded to a report of a dispute and subsequent vehicle crash on VT Route 14 near Mill Road at about 1:37 a.m. on May 27.
Troopers arrived to find a GMC Sierra truck had collided with the rear end of a parked 2010 Subaru Legacy at a residence.
The operator of the GMC, identified as Dalton Moore, 23, of Brownington, was located at a neighboring residence.
Police determined Moore had been intoxicated at a gathering at the residence before leaving in the GMC, driving off the roadway in multiple places, then returning and crashing into the parked vehicle in the driveway.
No injuries were reported.
Moore was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence.
While in custody, Moore allegedly damaged a Vermont State Police cruiser and engaged in disorderly conduct.
Moore was transported to the Newport Police Department for processing.
He was cited to appear in Orleans Superior Court on June 10 at 8:30 a.m.
