Driver cited for DUI after rollover crash in Corinth

CORINTH — Troopers from the St. Johnsbury barracks responded to a report of a one-vehicle rollover crash on Chelsea Road in Corinth at approximately 5:08 p.m. April 8.

Upon arrival, emergency crews were extricating operator Riley Stalker, 30, of Corinth from a 2006 Toyota Corolla Matrix with substantial damage.

Stalker was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

He was transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Weather conditions at the time included snow, and the road was wet.

Troopers were unable to speak with Stalker at the hospital.

Subsequent investigation determined Stalker was under the influence of intoxicants during the incident.

On May 27, troopers made contact with Stalker at his residence and issued him a citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court, Criminal Division, for driving under the influence and negligent operation.
