BRISTOL — Troopers from the Vermont State Police New Haven Barracks responded at about 4:45 p.m. May 27 to a reported assault on Lower Notch Road in Bristol.
Troopers spoke at the scene with Adam J. Gebo, 44, of Bristol, who was identified as the victim.
An investigation determined that Steven A. Hutchinson, 65, of Bristol, had committed the offense of simple assault, according to police.
Hutchinson was later located in Bristol and was issued a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division, at 12:30 p.m. July 14.
