Springfield woman arrested on warrant after being found in roadway

SPRINGFIELD — A Brattleboro woman was arrested Friday after police found her in the roadway on Woolson Avenue.

Sarah O’Shea, 36, was taken into custody at 2 p.m. May 16 when Springfield Police Department officers discovered she had an active in-state arrest warrant.

Officers had been dispatched to Woolson Avenue following reports of a subject in the roadway.

O’Shea was transported to the Springfield Police Department where the court was contacted and the bail order was struck.

She was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit, at 8:30 a.m. May 19 to answer to the arrest on warrant charge.

O’Shea was released following processing.
