PROVIDENCE — Rhode Island State Police arrested four individuals on various charges during a 14-hour period spanning May 26-27, according to officials.
Douglas Zorilla, 29, of Warwick, was arrested at 12:21 p.m. Monday for Violation of a Protection Order – Third Offense following a traffic stop in Pawtucket.
Zorilla was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center after being arraigned as a probation/bail violator.
Later that night at 11:29 p.m., troopers arrested Darnell Taylor, 57, of Providence, on a bench warrant for failing to appear at a pre-trial conference on a domestic violence charge.
Taylor’s arrest occurred during a vehicle stop on Douglas Avenue in Providence.
At 11:42 p.m., troopers arrested Miguel Morales, 23, of Providence, on two separate arrest warrants for violation of no contact orders from the Cranston and Central Falls Police Departments.
Morales was apprehended during a traffic stop on Memorial Boulevard in Providence and later transferred to Cranston police custody.
In the early morning hours of Tuesday, at 2:23 a.m., Pedro Lugo Ayala, 33, of Providence, was arrested for driving under the influence (third offense) and refusing a chemical test after being stopped on Exchange Street in Providence.
Lugo Ayala was held overnight at the Lincoln Woods Barracks pending arraignment in Sixth Division District Court.
