Police seek 2 men who placed boulder on Maine road

OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Police are seeking the public’s help to identify two men who placed a boulder and traffic cone in the middle of a road, causing damage to a passing vehicle.

The incident occurred shortly after 1 a.m. Monday on Saco Avenue, according to the Old Orchard Beach Police Department.

Surveillance footage captured the two men throwing a large boulder and a traffic cone into the roadway.

A vehicle later struck the boulder and sustained significant damage, police said.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the identities of the individuals to contact the Old Orchard Beach Police Department at 207-934-4911.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
