FAIRLEE — Vermont State Police arrested a Hartford man Monday night after he was spotted driving slowly with a flat tire on US Route 5.
Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks responded to a report of the vehicle at 8:47 p.m. on May 26.
Officers located and stopped the vehicle, identifying the driver as Jeffrey McBride, 54, of Hartford.
During their interaction with McBride, troopers observed signs of impairment.
McBride was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and transported to the Bradford Outpost for processing.
He was later issued a citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court – Criminal Division and released.
