SOUTHBRIDGE — A juvenile died after falling from a third-story window in Southbridge over the weekend, according to local authorities.
The Southbridge Police Department and Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office are investigating the incident.
Initial reports indicate the juvenile fell from the window Friday evening.
The victim was transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester, where they were later pronounced dead.
The Office of the Massachusetts Chief Medical Examiner has accepted the case and an autopsy is pending.
The matter remains under investigation by detectives from both the Southbridge Police Department and the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.
