Hermon man arrested in computer crimes investigation

HERMON — The Maine State Police Computer Crimes Unit arrested a Hermon man Friday in connection with an investigation into possession of sexually explicit materials.

Aaron Pinette, 42, was taken into custody at his residence around 9 a.m. May 23, according to state police.

Pinette was transported to the Penobscot County Jail and charged with possession of sexually explicit materials.

The investigation remains active, and authorities have not released additional information.
