Erie County Sheriff’s Office seeks help in Wales burglary probe

WALES — The Erie County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a person in connection with a burglary investigation in the Town of Wales.

According to authorities, the incident occurred between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. on May 21 at an unspecified location in Wales.

Sheriff John C. Garcia and Undersheriff William J. Cooley released photographs of the individual believed to be connected to the case.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Erie County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency number at (716) 858-2903 and reference incident number 25-047678.

The investigation remains ongoing.
