BOSTON — Boston police are searching for a 28-year-old Dorchester man wanted in connection with an attempted kidnapping in South Boston.
Adam McCree is wanted on probable cause for attempted kidnapping and assault and battery related to an incident that occurred Sunday, May 25, at about 4:37 a.m. in South Boston, according to police.
McCree also has multiple outstanding warrants from Boston and New York authorities.
Detectives believe McCree’s last known location was in Dorchester, but he may have fled to New York.
Police describe McCree as a Black male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall with brown eyes, black hair and a thin build.
He has a distinctive tattoo of prayer hands on his neck.
The Boston Police Department is urging residents to remain aware of their surroundings, especially when walking alone at night.
