BROADALBIN — The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company responded to reports of smoke coming from a residence on Sunset Drive in the Town of Broadalbin at 1:28 p.m. Monday.
Perth Volunteer Fire Company was also initially dispatched to the scene.
Lake Valley EMS responded to the call as well.
A Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company incident commander later directed Perth units to divert their engine and personnel to the Broadalbin firehouse instead of the scene.
BKFC responders were instructed to continue to the location “non-emergency.”
Fire police from BKFC managed traffic at the intersection of Sunset Drive and Lakeview Road during the incident.
